Now this one was a seriously fun wedding….

Connie and Gary’s wedding was at the Lochside House Hotel in the beautiful Ayrshire countryside. This was a wedding that I was looking forward to but was a tad apprehensive about it at the same time. I’ve known the couple for ages, both Gary and I being members of the same golf club in Kilmarnock. That meant that I was going to know loads of the guests, so I kinda knew that I was going to have my work cut out dealing with this crowd.

As a photographer, it’s a privilege to be involved at many weddings, you get to be involved with the couple, their family and friends on what is a really special day, you also get to know more about the couple themselves. Listening to the speeches, watching the reaction of the guests to this beautiful young couple, you knew just how special a pair they were…and they are such a perfect fit for each other….

This was a genuine celebration of this couples love for each other, a day full of fun, laughter, the odd tear, enjoyment and happiness and an absolute honour to be a part of.
