When Jacquelene and Derek decided to get married, they knew that they wanted a “destination” wedding……no place better in the world to get married in than Scotland 🙂
A few of their family and friends came over with them from America to the stunning Hillhouse Estate near Troon in Ayshire. They spent a few days before the wedding enjoying everything that the area had to offer.
Being in Scotland, they wanted their images to have a real authentic Scottish feel to them, castle, hills, the sea…..well we have some of that here 🙂
We agreed to get the bridal shots before the actual wedding, which I thought was a brilliant idea. We headed down to the ancient Portencross Castle just outside Seamill and the location had everything they wanted.
Back to Hillhouse for the most beautiful, intimate of ceremonies in the walled gardens of the estate. With Meredith McCrindle playing harp, it really did feel quite magical.
For such a small number at a wedding, man these guys knew how to party.
It was a fantastic day guys and thank you so much for asking me to capture it for you.
