In mid April the West coast of Scotland had its summer, think it lasted for about a week….This surprising turn of events meant that Jacqueline & Graeme’s wedding at The Waterside could be held outside in the sunshine with stunning views over the Firth of Clyde looking out towards Arran….perfect!

And what a beautiful celebration of this damn fine couples love it was. Spookily Graeme and his Groomsmen wore Misty Arran tartan outfits and as Arran was a little bit misty, it was very apt. Jacqueline looked amazing in her stunning bridal gown and along with her bridesmaids and flower girl, this was going to be a seriously stylish wedding.

Having a wedding ceremony and reception in the sunshine just seems to make it that much more chilled and relaxed. Obviously the beach was the perfect setting to get some shots of them both and whilst their friends and family were having some fizz back at the hotel, this 20-30 mins gave them the time to chill down too.

The rest of the day flew by and when I left after the first few dances, the party was in full swing.
