My last wedding of 2016 was a fantastic day spent with Karen and Mark, their friends and family from all over the world and all held at the stunning Blairquhan Castle in Ayrshire.

Living in New Orleans in the US, Karen from Brazil and Mark from Scotland had decided that they wanted a real Scottish Castle to be the location for their wedding, they certainly chose an amazing venue.

Sarah Plant at Sarah’s Creative Occasions did a magnificent job in arranging everything for them locally, so when they arrived a few days before the big day, pretty much everything was ready for them…right down to having a Brazilian cocktail expert training the staff to make the most perfect Caipirinha’s, man they were strong.

Brilliant day spent with a lovely couple, great way to end the wedding season for me…..now on to 2016’s weddings:)
