It always a great day when I get to photograph a wedding at the amazing Dumfries House. Set in the Ayrshire countryside, it was built circa 1750, this stately home is such an amazing place to visit and an even better place to hold your wedding.

For Klair and Chris it was exactly the backdrop they wanted for their special day…..

The ceremony was held in the stunning Tapestry room, such a perfect setting. Everyone then collected their fizz in the main reception area before heading out to the beautiful gardens at the front of the house. The weather was kind to us….

The grounds are huge but we kept “the couple” shots down to just a couple of locations….Get them done as quickly as possible so that the two of them can get back to the party.

It was a privilege to be able to share this brilliant couples day with them…thank you for having me guys 🙂
