I was so fortunate to have the most amazing experience a few weeks back.

Along with some old and new friends, I got the chance to be part of Tartan week in New York. The culmination of the week is the annual Tartan parade down 6th Avenue in Manhattan….what a surreal privilege it was to celebrate Scotland in front of so many New Yorkers and tourists, lining the streets cheering us on.

The days prior to the Saturday was spent strolling round the streets of Brooklyn taking in this seriously cool place and doing some work for one of my clients…

The other reason for being there was to celebrate Scot street’s style latest “Gathering” at Kinfolk in Brooklyn. The buzz that Gordon has created throughout Scotland was transferred to Brooklyn for the night. Firstly to Feltraiger for the pre-party drinks and then on to Kinfolk, where 150-200 people joined in to celebrate in the building of a global community, reinvigorating the perception of Scotland worldwide.

A fantastic few days which will so be repeated again 🙂
