Scotland has so many amazing castle’s that can host couples weddings. So I was delighted when Patricia and Christopher asked me to photograph their wedding at the beautiful Rowallan Castle near Kilmarnock in Ayrshire.

Another gorgeous summers day welcomed the couple, family and friends. A traditional Scottish wedding with Patricia looking stunning in her wedding dress and Christopher fairly rocking his kilt, their guests and the venue looking equally resplendent.

We took a trip down to the old 13th century castle which is just a couple of minutes away from the main castle for the main set of images. It’s such a stunning location and it’s great to see that it’s now been fully restored and available for use.

The whole day was a fabulous celebration for this damn fine couple…thanks for letting me share it with you.
