I went over to Tiree a few weeks back, never been before but it was always a place that I wanted to visit. Tiree is the most westerly island in the Inner Hebrides off the West coast Scotland, it’s only 12 miles long by about 6 miles wide at its furthest points….flat (except for a couple of hills) and no trees. Amazing the things you find about places that aren’t that far from you 🙂
Typical of when you take a trip like this, the weather was wet, wild and windy….great time to get some images in the style that I wanted to portray the island, dark and moody.
Wanted to adopt Sam, the highland cow but he wouldn’t have fitted in my bag….and on the way back, first experience of an airline phoning me to ask if I could get there early as the flight wanted to take off before the weather got worse…..
Amazing place and well worth a visit 🙂
